FRESH for KIDS is a program dedicated to providing healthy, fresh, and locally grown food to children in schools across British Columbia. We believe that no child should go hungry and that access to nutritious meals is a right, not a privilege.

Our approach is simple but powerful: by connecting schools with local farmers and food producers, we create a sustainable system that benefits children, supports local agriculture, and strengthens communities. Every meal served is an investment in a child’s future and a step toward solving food insecurity in our province.

How it works

Bringing fresh, nutritious food to BC students is a team effort! Through the Fresh for Kids program, we partner with local dairy producers, growers, and volunteers to deliver fresh fruits, vegetables, and milk to schools across the province. From producers to warehouses, grocery stores, and dedicated drivers, every step ensures that students enjoy
healthy, local food.
