You can be the change - donate today
Over the past two decades, the program, which began under the name “the BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutritional Program + Milk” has delivered fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and protein to over 1,477 schools, distributing millions servings annually in collaboration with industry partners, non-profits, and community agencies.
Today, schools receive up to 6 varieties of product 24 weeks of the school year, adding affordable healthy products to their school meal programs – delivered directly to the school.
Sourcing from local producers
We partner with BC farmers, growers, and dairy producers to bring high-quality fruits, vegetables, and milk to schools across the province.
Ordering and distribution
Fresh food is shipped to centralized warehouses, where it’s carefully sorted and prepped for delivery. Shipments are assembled based on school orders and sent to the closest community grocery stores.

Local grocery stores as hubs
To ensure freshness and accessibility, local grocery stores serve as safe storage points until the food is ready for its final delivery.
Scheduled school deliveries
Couriers and delivery drivers follow a set schedule to transport the food from grocery hubs to schools, ensuring timely and efficient distribution.
